Series Results & Wrap up
So after letting the dust/mud settle on nationals the results of the 2019 series are posted and we have been lucky to see some dominating performances across the 4 races.
Stand out siblings the Roches have shown they are a force to be reckoned with in the future racing for Scott-Quanta and waiting in the wings are the Daly brothers who finished 2nd and Third in U12/10. Paul O'Reilly (Dan Morrissey-MIG-Pactimo) had a dominant series and led from the front in most of the races. The ladies competition was down to the wire with Lisa and Niamh going blow for blow over the series and the results on the last day deciding who would take the Verge Leaders jersey.
In retrospect the series would not been what it was in 2019 without the Support of Specialized Ireland and Verge Sport. Both of these major sponsors added massively to the spectacle and scale of the races.
A huge shout out to all the hands that set up and tore down courses and eveything in between.
Did we get everything right, absolutely not, but we will be going agin in 2020 and will hope to make more changes for the benefit of all racers.
Congratulations to all our competitors, we do have prizes for the Top 3 in all races and will be auto entering winners into the 2020 series. We hope you will all join us again next year for what we hope will be bigger and better.
